Do I need an account?

No. SpeakSavvy works without an account or login. Your practice sessions live on your device.

Why does SpeakSavvy ask for microphone and speech recognition access?

Speaking practice is the whole app — the microphone records your answer and Apple's speech recognition transcribes it so SpeakSavvy can score structure, pace, clarity, and delivery. Analysis runs on your device.

Does my audio leave my phone?

No. Recordings are stored and analyzed on-device. If you connect an AI provider for coaching feedback, only the transcript text of your answer is sent — never the audio. See the privacy policy for details.

Does it work offline?

Yes — on devices with Apple Intelligence, coaching runs on-device, so you can practice without a connection.

How do I delete my data?

Delete individual sessions inside the app, or delete the app to remove everything. There is no server-side copy to clean up.

Is SpeakSavvy professional training or therapy?

No. SpeakSavvy is a practice tool for communication skills. It is not a substitute for professional speech therapy or medical advice.
